The long-awaited Saturday!

God's children have a great privilege, to worship God together with other brothers. This is a fundamental duty as beloved children of God.
Sing joyfully to God, all the earth.
Serve Jehovah with gladness;
Come before his presence with joy.
Know that Jehovah is God;
He made us, and not we ourselves;
We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
Enter his courts with thanksgiving;
Give him thanks, bless his name.
For Jehovah is good; his loving-kindness is everlasting,
And his truth to all generations.
Psalms 100:1-5
I want to share with you a picture of the life of some believers: Saturday begins, which for some after the fun or hustle and bustle of Friday night It is too hard to start with the responsibilities of Saturday morning. He wakes up almost on time, jumps out of bed in a hurry, takes a shower, immediately wakes up the whole family by force. And in some cases, if there is time, they have breakfast. They get in the car and arrive at full speed, park at the church and practically run into the hall, sit on a bench and start singing as they finish listening to the sermon and then go straight home again to have lunch and take a nice nap.
Perhaps this whole situation seems too familiar to you, there is something that does not correspond and it is: we are not worshiping God in this way. Coming to church, singing, participating in Bible study and worship are part of the activities that this person should do as a habit, they are not looking for an encounter with God because this activity seems like an interruption in the Sabbath of this person we are talking about while worship on this day should be the center, the most important activity of the week for the child of God.
It is important that as Psalm 100 says, we enter into His courts with praise, this means that not only on this day we have to somehow interrupt our activities, during the week we must prepare our mind and heart for this day, Saturday, the day of worship and adoration of the Lord should be the sublime moment of the whole week, all the lessons that we have reviewed during the week, in church, in worship, together with our brothers we review and we dedicate ourselves to worship God and serve our brothers. How is it possible that we arrive at the house of God without being prepared for an encounter with Him? Let us always remember that worshiping God is something that we must do, not what we can do.
I rejoiced in those who said to me:
To the house of the Lord we will go.
Psalm 122:1
