The fight has come to an end!

Our Lord Jesus Christ worked in such a way that the payment of the punishment that was upon us has been completed, we are no longer under the condemnation of sin and much less do we need to punish ourselves.
This is the message that we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:5-9
We have repeatedly read and studied that thanks to the sacrifice made by Jesus Christ on the cross of the hour we are totally free from the guilt of sin, but there are times when we feel somehow ashamed, that is why we never stop talking about this topic.
If we talk about some kind of guilt, we must do so in the light of the word, since there is a guilt of which the word of God speaks to us and another guilt that is totally false. When we transgress what is written in the word of God it is a type of guilt that is not based on a feeling, this type of guilt is real and we must only repent and do things differently.
And the other guilt that is false, that is the one that despite having accepted forgiveness, we continue to feel guilty after all this even after having confessed our sins, this guilt is not based on what the word says, this guilt is only a false feeling since the word of God assures us that we have been forgiven.
As far as the east is from the west,
He has removed our transgressions from us.
Psalm 103:12
People, even we, have struggles that are totally false and this happens because of the following: there are various doctrines and teachings but there is a very legalistic one that presents everything to us as a set of rules to follow from which we cannot deviate even an inch, it is like continuing with the idea of a perfect life, this perfectionism simply leads us to think that we will fail. That feeling of guilt that constantly invades us leads us to doubt love and even worse, to doubt God's salvation. This false guilt keeps us afraid of failing, afraid of failing and in constant insecurity. All of this simply does not allow us to enjoy life. Much less, it allows us to enjoy the Christian life, relationships and much more. All of this also brings physical problems such as stress.
8 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Romans 8:1
