SEC20W3 Class 3: High stitch and Hand Exercise
Day by day we are progressing in the learning of crochets, I so much appreciate the progress that I am personally making. Each week a new thing is being learn, this week was really amazing as I took part in the lecture and I know how to make high stitch which is also known as "double crochet"
I followed the video carefully, I followed the pictures by the teacher and I was able to arrived at a conclusion of knowing what is being done in this week's challenge. Thank you for this tutorial.
To complete the task that is required of me as a student this is my entry below
Task 1; I stretched my hand before starting watch the video below to see how I did that👇

Continuing from last week crochet which I made a round stitch of 16, I started my high stitch on it, I made 3 chains based on how tiny my yarn is. It was easy to make based on my understanding from the lecture.
Here are the photos of the step by step on how I made it.
I made 3 chains | I took a loop on the crochet hook |
---|
Then pass the needle in the next point of hole without leaving any space between the chains. | Insert the needle, take a loop and return the needle through the same stitch, there will be 3 strands left on the crochet hook. |
---|
At this point I took another loop and pass it through only two out of the three strands on the hook | Two strands are left on the hook so I took another loop and pass it through the only two of the strands on the hook. |
---|
This is the outcome of a high stitch | repeated process gives this result |
---|
Video making a round of 16 high stitch
In this task, I repeat the previous process but this time, it was double stitch in each hole of 16 stich making it 32 stitch in total.

Tu hilo es de un color muy bonito y es delgado, además hiciste tres cadenetas para el punto alto, supongo que por todo eso los agujeros se ven claramente. Está muy bonito tu tejido y se te siente entusiasmo.
Éxitos
