American Youtuber demolishes La Ronde in 9 points in a powerful video

in #crime6 years ago

A young American youtuber, who runs a chain dedicated to amusement parks around the world, went through La Ronde last year and say he did not love his experience. His video, posted online in December, is very reactive and continues to receive comments from Quebecers who agree or who defend their park every week.

"I did not think a park could be that bad, but Six Flags [the American company that owns La Ronde since the early 2000s] operates here what I consider to be the worst amusement park I've visited of my life, "says Taylor under his 11-minute video that picks up the park on St. Helen's Island.

Everything happens there: parking, rides, employees, crowds, etc. Does anyone who has already tested more than 500 roller coasters and dozens of parks have a little bad faith? Your turn to judge.

LET'S SEE HIS 9 POINTS:

1. The queue to enter is endless, even when you have your pass in hand

Here, the images speak for themselves. The queue is long even for subscribers. "How is it possible to take so much time to simply advance and scan his card?" Asks the adept thrills.

2. The crowd would be completely unpleasant

The critic describes the crowd, mostly teenager, as the worst ever encountered in an amusement park. "The clientele was horrible, nobody respects the rules: people push and they cut the line every time."

Here, Taylor adds that it was also very difficult to manage because of the language barrier. "I could not even tell them to stop because they spoke another language."

Hmm.

3. Employees are not helpful

Employees do nothing to facilitate the customer experience, notes the youtuber . They do not monitor the behavior of the customers, they are stupid and they are not helpful.

4. No shade anywhere

The critic mentions that the heat is particularly felt at La Ronde, because unlike other parks, there is nothing installed to shade the customers who wait for long hours. And justly...

5. Queues are way too long

According to the young man, waiting time was respectable for all the old rides, but as soon as it is a popular attraction, delays before boarding are too much. Many rides also had cars under repair during business hours, which would have further slowed down the process.

6. The incredible number of closed rides

The monster was closed, but it was not indicated anywhere. Why? The Cobra is closed forever, but it is still there. Why? The haunted house was closed. Why? These are questions Taylor says he has not received.

7. A poutine is a meal? And then a beaver tail?

With the Six Flag Pass, the critic could fetch an inclusive meal. But he was surprised to learn that at La Ronde, poutine and beaver tails are considered a meal. The young man was angry.

Of course, Quebeckers are busy with comments under the video. "A poutine at home is a meal," they say.

8. Basically, it's ugly

The landscaping is kept to a minimum and the obsolescence of the equipment leaves something to be desired. "And, ok, there's a nice lake in the middle, but why can not we go around?", Remarks the one who runs the rides.

9. The Super Hall

The critic really hated the Super Manege, which has also earned a 7th place in one of the worst Russian mountains of all time ... always according to him. "Just stupid. It hurts. You bump your head everywhere and it does not do much. It looks like an itinerant fair ride. Why does this thing exist? "

If you are a roller coaster fan of the world, here are the other nine positions:

Despite these nine criticisms, let's mention some positive points raised by the youtuber : the location on an island is nice (but no more), the Goliath is really good, like the demon that looks cool . It's all around.

In conclusion, if La Ronde bothered to arrange some things, says the videographer, it could become livable. But for the moment, "do not go unless it is to be able to scratch it from your list of places to try, and then never go back," he concludes.
