The first three wickets Muhammad Amir took immediately with his great bowling. He plumbed Rohit Sharma in front of wicket, got behinf Dhawan and out Kohli two times.
Kohli was not lucky enough to leverage his batting after drop catch from Azhar Ali. Kohli lectured to his team in whole event to stay cool and calm and on the Day of Judgment, he himself loses his hope even getting a life line by Azhar Ali in earlier ball.
It was superb bowling from Muhammad Amir that he didn’t allow Kohli to play safe short even a catch was dropped already by Azhar Ali.
After Kohli’s wicket, Amir took Dhawan wicket and set the direction for Pakistani bowlers. They took one wicket after one and end the Indian inning at 158.
The only one Indian player showed resistant against opponent and that was Pandya. Hardik Pandya scored blasting 76 runs on just 43 balls with 4 fours and 6 sixes. His strike rate was nearly double, 176.74.
So the conclusion is Pakistan is now Champion of ICC Champion Trophy 2017. It was massive by the 8th rank team against top class team.
Experts say that this change is due to induction of young players. Pakistan is the only team who allowed 3 players to debut in important matches of ICC Champion Trophy 2017.
Pakistan team also rewarded 6th rank for the great victory in the ICC Champions Trophy final and also booked their seat in the ICC World Cup 2019 without playing qualifying round.
