How I Spent My Day | 26-05-2025

Greetings, dear friends, and welcome to my blog. It is another beautiful day of the week, and I'm delighted to share with you all how I spent my previous day. Always I have kept you all updated with regards to how I spend my day, and today is not going to be an exception.

It was a Monday morning, and before now, I had a message from one of my agents that I would be working with the food production warehouse, so I had that in mind already, and I prepared for it. Here in the UK the work is based on hours, and as a student, I have just 20 hours weekly to work.

Usually, the work I get always spans at least 9 hours; hence, I can only work two days because of the 20-hour rule by the UK government. The work always starts as early as 6:00 a.m., and from where I stay, the workplace is around 15-20 miles hence, I always wake up on time to follow the available bus to arrive there before the said time.

Yesterday was a bank holiday here in the UK, and for that reason the buses didn't come out early; hence, we had to use Uber to our destination. 3 of us from my flat had a job that morning, and since we were 3, we decided to split the money for the Uber, which wasn't also good for me because the Uber took us straight to the working place.

Before this time I had already written my article for the day but didn't post because I always wanted the post that is meant to pay out that day to do so before posting another. Since we started the work by 6:00 a.m., we had a break around 9:00 a.m., and that was when I was able to reach out to my phone to make the post.

The work was quite interesting yesterday because I worked through various parts, and I was able to learn how things are done in all of these areas. I came back home around 5 p.m. and decided to microwave my soup and then made eba and ate. I took my bath thereafter and then rested my head because it was indeed a stressful day. That was how I spent my day.
