How I Spent My Day | 18-05-2025
Hello guys,
Welcome to my blog. It's a new day of the week, and I'm so happy to share with you all how I spent my previous day. It was a Sunday and a day set aside for worship. I have promised myself that I will always attend Mass every Sunday here in the UK unless I'm busy. So yesterday, I prepared for Mass, but before going, I ensured that I did all the needed or necessary things.
Usually, every morning before going out for any activities, I always ensure that I say my morning prayers, write my article for the day, and then arrange my room. Yesterday wasn't an exception; in fact, I also did laundry because my clothes were very dirty and I needed to ensure my football kits were clean and ready for the ball we were to play that evening.
So after all of the needed things, I went ahead to attend the Mass, and Mr Christian and I came back to my hostel after the Mass, and we got talking while I tried to boil rice for us to eat since I had stew available. After cooking and eating, we had a gist and then discussed more on how our PhD programme will be.
After much discussion, he left, and I decided to rest for a while because we usually go every Sunday evening from 7 to 10 to play football in the school field along with some young boys. Before I went out with my guys for this football, I went to the common room, and there I saw a few of my colleagues as they practised dancing. It was indeed an interesting dance, and I stayed and watched them for a while before going out.
We arrived at the football pitch at about 7:40 p.m., so we played until around 10:00 p.m., then we closed. I came back home exhausted, and my entire body was aching. So I decided to take a warm shower and then microwave the leftover rice I had and ate. Immediately after that, I went ahead to rest my head, and that was how I spent my day.
