How I Spent My Day | 17-05-2025

Greetings, dear friends,
It's another day of the week, and I'm delighted to share with you all how I spent my previous day. Yesterday was Saturday, and it is one of the days I have time for myself and also exercise through playing football. So yesterday wasn't an exception. I woke up from bed and said my prayers, then went ahead to check through social media for a while.

I also went ahead to write my usual publication for the day and had it posted as well. I do this every morning before going out for any other activities. Usually, I make the post around 8:00 a.m. daily. The football training always starts at 8:10 every Saturday. So we had a long training because my team kept winning against the other team, making us champions in the game, so we played and got tired, and at about some minutes past the hour of 10, we all got exhausted and then decided to close for the day.

Coming back to my flat, I was so exhausted and hungry, so I hurriedly made a little Eba since I had a little soup in the fridge. I ate, and after eating, I decided to rest a bit before taking my bath. While resting, I decided to clean my room because it has been more than 2 days since I last did that. While in the process, I received a call from my friend Christain, who pleaded that I should accompany him to a place where he could go and pick up furniture.

I took my bath, and we went to the place. We saw some good furniture, including kitchen utensils, at a very affordable price. It was a good experience, if you ask me, because we fed our eyes, and we also got a suitable reading chair for him. We later branched into the Bolton market. I needed to get foodstuffs and other things because I don't intend to buy food again in the next two months.

We came back to my flat and then had a long chat before he left. It was indeed a wonderful moment for me because I learnt a lot from him during our discussion. So I remained in my room and then rested for the rest of the day because the stress of academics, playing football, and also going out became too much for me. So that was how I spent my day, my people.
