How I Spent My Day | 16-05-2025

Hello guys,
I welcome you all to my blog today. It's a new day, and I'm delighted to talk about how I spent the previous day. Please read through my blog till the end and see how my entire day went. It started when I woke from the bed. I already had plans to go to school, but that was around 9:00 a.m., so I wasn't in a hurry.

As usual, when I woke up, I went through social media and then saw a few things happening, and I also checked through my chats and replied to as many as I could. When I was done with that, I had to look at my friend's project, which she was supposed to have submitted; she needed help with the code design, so I had to help her work on it. Also, there is a report writing of a project from my friend, too, in Nigeria, that I started working on, so I had to also check it that morning.

After a while, I noticed the time was no longer on my side, so I went ahead to microwave the food I had and then went ahead to eat and take my bath, then prepared myself and went to school. There are many works going on in the lab at the moment; hence, I need to be there to work on my paper and also prepare for the Turkish conference coming up in July.

When I arrived at school, Dr Ojo, the assistant of Professor Celestine Iwendi, gave me a task. He told me that we needed to fix the lab and remove all the unnecessary things. I went ahead and did as he instructed, and a little longer later, I had a meeting that I had to attend. It was a meeting to discuss our PhD programme, which I was so interested in because it was going to be a two-year programme.

In all, my day was filled with lots of activities. We also brought out one of the robots we have in the lab, and then we carried out practicals on it, which made it really amazing. It was fun being in school today, if you ask me. We closed around 5:00 pm, and I joined a few friends who went ahead to open a restaurant where they will sell African food. It was a beautiful experience, and I enjoyed it.

I came back home exhausted and tired, and then I went ahead to still work on the program for my coursemate and had it running, then sent it to her, and we stayed online for more time because she had lots of questions about how the system operates, which I guided her through all the way. That was how I spent my day, guys.
