How I Spent My Day | 12/02/2025

It was another day of the week and as usual I reminded myself that I came down to United Kingdom for my studies hence I have to do all things to the best of knowledge and ensure I grap the knowledge and then come out with distinction as expected. The entire thing isn't easy at all but that is the dream and the plan at the moment.

To achieve that, I decided to study even more yesterday. Recall I told you guys that I had an assessment that I needed to finish on or before Friday so that I can share it with the professor incharge to see if I'm on track or not. I had a lot of articles to read and review because I was supposed to review minimum of 30 related topics.

Yesterday I pushed harder and had 25 article reviewed and in each of the article what was needed from me to include in a tabular is the topic, what, why, how and the citation or reference where I got the material from. Since it is academic writing, there is zero tolerance for plagiarism and AI generated content hence it has to be purely human knowledge.

Also I took it as an opportunity to learn how to properly and effectively read and comprehend journals and conferences and magazine or books as the case maybe. Research has helped me in no small way to understand things better as I read through them and also knowledge gap identification has become even more easier since I can build on the future work.

So I made a lot of studies yesterday and I also had a friend and colleague who came around because he needed a clear explanation of the assessment question and how he should go about it. So I was able to clearly explain the entire to him and he stayed for a while with me while we gisted before he later left my place. It was indeed an amazing experience in all.

Finally, I went than to one of the malls closer to me to get a few things that I will be using to cook because I needed to have those stuff available. I bought snacks as well because I needed it since I couldn't make food on that very day. So when I came back I drank coffee and then continued my studies.
