How I Spent My Day | 10-06-2025

Hi guys,
I welcome you all to my blog. It is another day of the week, and as usual, I want to report how my previous day was spent. These activities have helped me consistently track the things I do and the progress I make each day. I'm delighted to share this amazing post with you all today.

Without wasting much of your time, let's get started. Yesterday was Tuesday, and it was a day I had to go for my second shift. This week I was very lucky to get two shifts from the agent, which cover 18 hours of the week. I have stated earlier in some of my previous blogs that as a student, you are only allowed to work 20 hours here in the UK.

Where I usually go for my work is like an hour and 30 minutes from where I stay; for that reason, I had to wake up early and then arrive there at least 10 minutes before the start of work. So yesterday, a few of my friends went there for work, and we arrived there at the said time.

I worked from 6:00 a.m. to around 8:50 a.m., before I was given a break, so during the break period, I hurriedly posted the article I had written earlier. I did this since I knew I would be going to work and there may not be time to write. I went back to work and stayed till the second break, where I came out and took some tea and snacks I brought to work.

We finished the shift around 3:00 p.m., and then we took a bus that took us almost two hours to arrive to Bolton from Wigan. It is always a very long drive, but it was worth it because I needed to rest my head a little in the bus before coming back home to face our group assessment, which was due for submission.

As soon as I arrived home, I quickly went ahead to microwave the little food I had and then ate it without wasting much time. When I was done with that, I hurriedly took my bath because I needed the strength to be able to do my assessment and also submit it. Every group member has sent in their part of the assessment; hence, I just went ahead to compile all of them and then created the cover page, table of contents, abstract, and the references list since that was what was remaining.

We submitted at exactly 22:00 hours since the deadline for the submission was scheduled for 23:00 hours. Immediately, I submitted it. I checked the similarity from Turnitin, which shows 4%, which is very much accepted by the school. I shared the good news with the group since only one person will submit for the group.

I then went ahead to have a little chat with a few friends as I lay on the bed to rest. So that was exactly how I spent the rest of my day, my dear friends. See you all in my next publications, guys.

Hey @simonnwigwe! Great to see you sharing your daily routine. Balancing work, studies, and Steemit in the UK sounds like a real juggling act! I admire your dedication to documenting your progress and the hustle to make it all work. The detailed breakdown of your Tuesday is super relatable for students working to make ends meet. Managing shifts, group assessments, and still finding time to connect with friends – you're making the most of your time! Keep up the excellent work and keep sharing! I'm keen to hear more about how you manage to balance everything. What strategies do you find most helpful for staying organized?
