How I Spent My Day | 10/04/2025

Hi guys welcome to my blog. It's another day of the week and I'm delighted to share with you how I spent my previous day. I hope you will read till the end and see how my day went through. I love writing this because it help me keep track of the things I encountered everyday of my life especially now that I'm here in the UK in pursuit of my Master's degree.

So it was Thursday a day set aside for intense program. If you have been following my blog and reading through you may have already know that I'm doing an internship with the centre of intelligence of things CloTh here in the university of Greater Manchester UK.

The internship was introduced by the leader of the MRes program which I'm currently doing. The goal here is that we become not just the application users but also understand the code behind every thing we see in play. It's indeed an amazing journey so far because I have learnt a lot recently based on the ongoing program.

For we the intern students, we are working on real time problems and trying to create solutions to a lot of problems going on around the world especially the world trade organisation issues and the tariff increase by the president of the United States. It is indeed an eye opening project at the moment and we are getting ourselves around it at the moment.

We had a hectic class yesterday and we were able to also set up the laboratory because they system needed for this high performance computing just recently arrived which is what we are using at the moment to see how we can build all the model needed for the entire thing.

We also had a very lovely section with an old student who has dive into the Tech world in real time. He opened our eyes to many opportunities as he made us to start asking ourselves questions like what do we really want to do and where do we find what makes us happy and enable us to grow in this fast growing technology world.

After the section we asked questions and got a lot of feedbacks on how to keep up the pace with the world technology and it was indeed an amazing experience which we were able to learn a whole lot. So that was how I spent my day yesterday guys.
