How I Spent My Day | 08-06-2025

Hi guys, I welcome you all to my blog today. It's another beautiful day of the week, and I'm delighted to share with you all how I spent my day. As usual, this has become a normal routine for me here on this platform because I always keep us updated with regard to how I spend my day.

Yesterday was Pentecost Sunday, which happens to be one of the greatest feasts of the church because it is termed the birthday of the church. As a Catholic, it was a day of celebration for me because it is the last Sunday of Easter and a day when we pray for the gifts of the Holy Spirit to be poured out on us once again.

So that morning, after my usual routine of tidying my room and also writing my article for the day, I went ahead to prepare myself for the Mass, which took around an hour before the dismissal. Myself and my friend Christian then went to Morrison, which is a shopping mall close to the church, to get some snacks. I always need it, especially while going to work.

When I came back home, I felt the need to make some rice, so I hurriedly joined Chris once again at Asda, where I purchased vegetables and chicken, which I used to prepare my food for the day. I made jollof rice and then shared it with a few friends. I kept the remainder in the fridge, as I planned to eat it after work the next day.

Immediately I was done with all of the cooking stuff, I went into my room and then locked myself up because there is a task I had at hand that needed to be addressed, and that was the collaboratory assessment part. We shared the different parts of the proposal that everyone will work on; hence, I needed to finish my part before Monday night.

I was told to handle the parts of the research design and method, and also the project plan timeline. As of yesterday, I was able to finish writing the research design and method aspect, but I have yet to start the part of the project plan timeline, but hoping to handle that after work today. It took me a while to finish the part I worked on yesterday.

When I finished, I decided to rest my head because I have a task the next day, which is work I will need to go to as early as 4:00 a.m., so I needed to sleep and rest my whole system so I don't feel a headache or possibly sleep while work is going on. So, guys, that was exactly how I spent my day. I hope you had a great time reading through my publication today. See you all in my next article, guys.

Hey @simonnwigwe, thanks for sharing your day with us! I always appreciate these "day in the life" posts – it's a cool way to connect with others on Steemit. Sounds like you had a productive and fulfilling Sunday, balancing your spiritual life with church, enjoying time with friends, making delicious jollof rice (yum!), and tackling those important academic tasks. That collaborative assessment sounds intense! Good luck with finishing the project plan timeline. It's great to see how you manage to fit so much into one day, from spiritual reflection to academic work and connecting with friends. Keep sharing these glimpses into your life!
