How I Spent My Day | 25-06-2025
Hello everyone, I welcome you all to my blog. It's another beautiful day, and I'm delighted to share with you how I spent my previous day. As I have always said, this has always helped me keep track of my daily activities and also guide me through how my future days will go.

System Flowchart
Yesterday was Wednesday, a day I normally have my lecture as a student. My timetable as an MRes Computing student reads that I have a lecture once every week, so that I will have more time for myself to study and do more research.
My Wednesday class is always in the afternoon because two sets have classes on that very day. Students of AI have their classes in the morning, whereas those of us in Computing have ours in the afternoon.
While I was preparing to go to school around 9:30 a.m., I had a call from Mr. Chris, and he said they want to get a few things from the shopping mall close to the school, which they would like to bring to my house so we can cook and eat. Because of that, I stayed back.
Queensly, who happens to be the only single lady in the class, and Mr. Chris came, and then I provided all that we needed to prepare the food, and she helped us make a very delicious spaghetti. I enjoyed it because it has been ages since I last ate food prepared by a woman.
Immediately after preparing the food we ate and then we went to the class together. The lecturer waited a bit for us because a lot of students were absent at the time the class commenced. It was an interesting class that started at 1:20 p.m. and ended at 4:30 p.m.
I went back home immediately after the class to face my assessment, which I was supposed to submit on or before 28 day of June, which is in about few days from now. I have written chapters 1-3 of the research I'm currently running the analysis to see the result and then continue with chapters 4 and 5.
I was able to get a few result yesterday but the result was not good enough because the real-time data I got from the OpenWeatherMap API was limited and doesn't work well when using machine learning for analysis so I resolved to get secondary dataset from kaggle and then have it joined with the real-time data for proper analysis and possibly come up with better results.
I got exhausted after some time, and I decided to rest my head a bit and then continue today. I intend to have the system up and running today and then continue with chapters 4 and 5 on Friday and possibly finish and submit before the deadline on Saturday. So that was how I spent my day, guys. See you all in my next publication.
Hey @simonnwigwe, great to see you sharing your daily life as an MRes Computing student! I love how you're balancing academic life with real-world collaborations, like cooking with Queensly and Mr. Chris. That spaghetti sounds delicious! It's interesting to hear about your research challenges with the OpenWeatherMap API data. Using Kaggle datasets to improve your analysis is a smart move. Good luck finishing up chapters 4 and 5, and I hope you beat that deadline. Keep us updated on your progress; your journey is truly inspiring!
🎉 Congratulations!
