How I Spent My Day | 23-06-2025

Hello everyone, and welcome once again to my blog. Today, just like every other day, I'm delighted to share how I spent my previous day. This has become a usual routine for me as a person because it helps me keep track of my daily life activities.

Yesterday was Monday, and I went to school because I didn't have any available shifts this week. Usually, since about three to four weeks ago, I have been going on shifts on Monday and Tuesday because my lecture is always on Wednesday.

Since this time, no such shifts were made available, so I went ahead to join my colleagues who are celebrating with our programme leader in the person of Professor Celestine Iwendi. Since we made a portrait for him, we had to present it as early as possible when he arrived at school.

Since the portrait was made here in the hostel by one of us who happened to be a scholar as well, and since I was the only person coming from the hostel at the moment, I took the portrait to the school that morning before the professor's arrival.

We did all we needed to do and celebrated him that very morning, and then I stayed back to work on my assessment. Later during the day, I went back home and ate, and then continued working on my project.

After a while, I saw a message in the group where the professor was inviting us to a get-together in one of the bars around town. So I communicated with a few of my coursemates, and we went for the occasion.

We had a very lovely time together, and we discussed and appreciated the professor firstly for creating the research programme that brought us to Bolton and for his fatherly guidance to us in our journey as scholars.

I came back home around some minutes past the hour of 10:00 p.m., so I decided to go through a few of the things I had done for the day, and then I had a little time to reply to messages, and then I decided to rest for the day. That was exactly how I spent my day. See you all in my next publications.
