How I Spent My Day | 02-07-2023

Greetings, dear friends, and welcome to my blog. It is another day of the week, and I'm so delighted to share with you all how I spent my previous day. It was a Wednesday and one of the days I consider busy because I have to attend a lecture and also do other things.

Yesterday wasn't an exception because I went to school for my lecture, which is usually scheduled to be held once a week. I haven't had the chance to go to the school this week because I have other commitments, which I'm currently working tirelessly on at the moment.

So since it was Wednesday and I knew my lecture was scheduled for the afternoon, I decided to go earlier so that I could stay a little bit in the laboratory and do a few things and also see the prof., based on the paper we are working on and also our assessment and how it can be worked on for submission on the 8th of this very month.

When I arrived at the school, I got the clarification I wanted. So I also spent a little time working a bit on some of my projects, and then I went ahead to attend the class when it was time for my lecture. It was an interesting class that talked about project evaluation.

This topic helps me to know how to properly evaluate my project from the planning to the finishing of the entire project. It is indeed a beautiful lesson section, and it was quite interactive as well. We had lots of practical examples with regard to the evaluation of projects and the tools used to evaluate machine learning models since most of our work was on machine learning and other.

We closed, and I joined a few of my classmates at the shopping mall closer to my house, where I bought chicken and a few other food and fruit items. When I came back home, I decided to make Jollof rice and ate it because I didn't eat anything tangible before going out for classes.

It took me about an hour or two to finish preparing the food, and when I finally finished, I decided to eat and then rest a bit because I have an online mentorship class that I'm currently taking. It's a 4-week master's training in a course that I recently signed up for.

So I took the nap so as to wake up much later and have at least 2 hours of my time invested in the course. I aspire to study and learn the course so well that I can also train others on it someday. I woke up, and then, as planned, I was able to go through a few courses for the class before I slept back, and that was how I spent my day, ladies and gentlemen. See you all in my next publication.

Hey @simonnwigwe, thanks for sharing a glimpse into your busy Wednesday! I love how you're balancing your studies, lab work, and even personal development with that online mentorship class. Project evaluation sounds like a crucial topic, especially with the focus on machine learning models. And who can resist a good plate of Jollof rice after a long day? It's inspiring to see your dedication to learning and your ambition to share that knowledge with others. Keep up the great work, and I'm looking forward to your next post! What specific aspects of machine learning project evaluation are you finding most interesting or challenging?

🎉 Congratulations!
