1 Picture 1 Story

Hello guys,
I welcome 🤗 you all to my blog once again. It's another day of the week and I'm delighted to share with you all another interesting post of mine which is based on the topic 1 picture 1 story. This picture below talks about my visit to Afikpo a local government area in Ebonyi State Nigeria.

When I visited Afikpo I was still very small and it was about 10 years ago. My late Anty was married there so I visited her. I couldn't stay much because it's was a little break and I too wasn't too comfortable with the area.

Since then I couldn't go to Afikpo again until recently. I have earlier shared with us here that my Anty died after battling with an illness for some years now. It wasn't an easy journey because we all spent a lot trying everything possible for her to survive but all effort to keep her alive proved abortive.

Yesterday was her burial and it was done her in Afikpo where she got married. I had to visit the city again because of the burial. My Anty is one of the persons who have helped me to go this far in life and I owe her everything and that is the main reason I travelled from the north despite the transport fare to this place to attend the burial.

When I came around I had to help in doing a few work among the many works I decided to do is fetching water. There were many people in the house that came for the burial and for that reason I decided to contribute my quota by going to a very popular stream that they have here to get water.

They stream from my findings doesn't dry up no matter what. It was the first time I'm seeing the stream because when I visited initially I wasn't going out to fetch water because there was water in the house as it was during the rainy season.

So since this occasion fall during this dry season, I had to join a host of others to get water for the family to use so that everyone can take their bath, wash their clothes and do other things. It was an amazing experience here because I got myself familiar with new places and also I was able to see new things as well.

So the image you see above is the image of the water fall in the village here because the water comes out from a stone which is on the hill. People always fetch water from the bottom.
