I've always despised it too

Me too. I also despise people who idolize them, who accept that the richest are generally allowed to do whatever they want. All bad things in our modern world are results of the actions of people who forget we are all mortals... and the most important things in our life cannot be purchased.

I heard a quote recently, can't recall who is its author, but it was saying something like "if the 20 richest people on Earth are isolated, wars will end within an year or so" :)

Yup, the world haven't been crazier... and I wish our own islands of tranquility stay safe, as long as possible :)
