“Lisa! Hurry up or we will miss our flight to Singapore nanti!”

She heard her mother yelling from the bottom of the stairs. Letting out an exasperating sigh, she bit her lip to hold back a scream. Chubby fingers curled tightly around a shirt, she shouted back from her room. “Geez! Yalah! I’m nearly done, alright!” No. Truthfully, she was far from being nearly done with packing her suitcase for their short trip. She sighed once again in dilemma while looking back at the mountain pile of clothes that had turned her room into a disastrous state. Folding her arms together across her chest, she childishly kicked a yellow sundress under her toes and flopped back onto her mattress. “Should I bring those flowy sundresses or should I just wear my patterned blouses and skirts? Aish, should I or should I not?” She murmured quietly to herself.

After a long time of pondering, she stood up from her bed and strode in front of her enormous wardrobe. She could hear her damned clock ticking on the wall, urging her to make a quick decision. “Argh, whatever lah” She said frustratingly in her mind. She grabbed pieces of random clothes from the wardrobe and tossed it into her suitcase. Moving towards her dressing table, she did not bother to stop and think. She placed her entire left forearm and dragged horizontally all of the products that were sitting on top of the table- down into her suitcase that was waiting at the end of the table. “Honk! Honk!” She startled to the sudden honking sound from downstairs. Feeling extremely annoyed, she muttered strings of curses and quickly zipped her suitcase without bothering to check the stuff inside. She took one last glance around her room, turned her back and slammed the door.

Little did she know, in the midst of hurry, she only packed a few pieces of pyjamas and some useless fragrant essential oils inside of her suitcase. So there she went, spending her whole trip walking around Singapore with her pyjamas on.
