Tell your story#27(Broken to be saved)
Thrilled to share this story with you all.
This is my Sister's story. My parents have always wanted us to get married to our tribal man, but we've all been finding love far away from home, so it was a thing of great joy when my sister brought our tribe man as her fiancee. The family set a date for the introduction and traditional marriage, but even as the day approached, her sisters were not thrilled about it. We observed Ken, but we knew it was best that way that the man wasn't who he claimed to be. First, he said she would have to quit her job after marriage, and his insecurities stings. Whenever he calls and she doesn't pick up at the first ring, he concludes that she is with another man.
It was glaring that this guy wasn't the man for her but she was blinded by the hype from our parents about marrying from home. It was a great shock that with the traditional marriage done and a few days before the wedding, the groom called off the wedding by himself. My parents were so disappointed, and my sister's heart was broken, but I was sure it was God who saved her from marrying the wrong man. She is alright now
I believe it's for the best, as otherwise, your sister might have made a significant mistake by marrying the wrong man. Yes, marriage can sometimes lead to unhappiness or even an early grave.
I hope you can stay active and interact meaningfully with others, as this is the only path to true success.
I will put in my best. Thanks
