Worst Food combo Rant

Well, am here to rant. Rant about my wrist food combo lately. Well, am writing this with a mixed feeling. These periods have really been very sweet financially coupled with the price of steem. It’s not been very funny and there has been plenty food everywhere cos I don’t want to be making negative confessions.

Well, I was very hungry and I’ve actually been very busy lately. I’ve not really been very active too save for my MOD’s duties and a little post here and there. Well this very day,
I was down to my last farthing and the child of God was hungry.

Left for me I would have eaten swallow cos I had small soup remaining from the previous night. Mind you the garri I used to eat the night before was borrowed from a friend where I lived. It was actually ijebu garri which was meant for drinking but I had to eat it like that cos that was what the friend had.

When the desirable is not available, the available becomes desirable they said. So back to my story. So after eating the small borrowed garri for last night, I had to remain the soup for the next day. When the next day came, no garri.

The hunger was getting serious by the minutes. It was already past 1pm and I hadn’t eaten. I thought of the next thing to do. I had some potatoes left over from another day too. So I just had the craziest thought. While not boil the potatoes and used the melon soup to eat it.

I would have used oil or stew to eat the potatoes but none of those things were available. Food stuffs have gone down. That’s a very bad combo. I havent even tried it before. I know in the time past I had seen my mum used melon soup to eat white rice and I thought it was strange but here I am repeating an even stronger combination. Hahahaha but no funny.

Am laugh now but that day it wasn’t funny. I cooked the potatoes and didn’t even do the courtesy of dishing them in the plate.

I put them right into the soup pot and started digging in. A hungry man is a hungry man. I didn’t think twice. From the picture you can see that it’s looking scary.

Please don’t ask if I enjoyed it, cos I didn’t. It wasn’t funny. I was just gulping down the food cos I was hungry. Ordinary sweet potatoes is cool but the soup combo drained away all the sweetness. In a long while, I haven’t had this kind of combo before and permit time to rant about it. Worst food combo so far.
