Ever wonder what I have been doing these few weeks, days.....?

I've been reading! Reading is one of my hobbies in real life. I have learnt this skills from my dad. He has never stayed a day without reading and listerning to the BBC world service 😀. Infact, one side of my dad's palour is a very big library. @eliany can attest to this...😀

As for me, Steem blockchain has already helped me in this regard. There are always some great contents to read.

Books are windows that pierces into creative and intelligent minds. Reading a book is equivalent to hearing the writer speak.

But in this case, it is being written down. When a writer documents any information, he wants you to align in his way of thinking too.

Not just you, the many other generations to come. It only gets too bad that books are a one end communicator. As a reader, you can only get to know what the writer thinks about or views a particular subject.

From your end whether you agree to the thoughts there or not, you can not share your opinions nor communicate your disagreement.

Irrespective of that, I still have favorite books that appeal to me especially wonderful authors like Thomas Hardy who wrote "Far from the madding crowd." Francine Rivers and our very own Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.@alexanderpeace , apart from the last person I mentioned here.., do you know the first two people...?

My range of favorite books spans African novelettes to American novels and even more. I appreciate books with educative or creative contents.

I don't mind whoever the author is or where he/she is from. I focus on the message and this have helped me read so many books.

When I read my favorite books, I don't only learn, I derive pleasure in it knowing that I have like minds just like myself.

Reading from my favorite authors feels like teleporting myself around the globe. That way, my mind has gone way farther, living and enjoying life experiences more than my legs could ever go.

One thing about reading is that you get to see the world in multiple perspectives. If you don't read books, then you are too limited.

Social media can show you trends but reading will make you understand it's implications of trends.
I would give you a candid advice: "Never let a day go without reading a book"

It really is true what they say that you stop learning you start growing old no matter your age.
So if you don't want to be old and gray in your 20's and 30's please read a book every day.

Reading might be not all that easy especially when you have other lined up works and project.

So never forget to include reading in your everyday to do list. Maximize the time you spend in a bus by reading or listening to audio recordings of a book.

Cut down some unnecessary chatter by occupying yourself with a book, that way you'll see yourself more productive, more fulfilled with a wide spectrum of knowledge.

Discipline yourself, get that book from the shelf or over the counter and get at it.

Goodnight! Share your favourite book.....

I totally agree with this great write up and I love to put it in the very words of Ben Carson, the author of gifted hands “Read for your life”.

To me reading is living. Thanks for this insightful piece sir.

My favourite book is “The Richest man in Babylon.” It’s more than worth reading.

That's true dad like reading a lot and he never get tired till now. It makes him very brilliant.

Is good to read books, like you already said, it is not easy to read especially when you have more work pile up but then I still try to read some books.

Keep reading more books, it helps your thinking and it brings out the person in you.
