The first and last fight

Hello followers!!
Today i was watching a youtube video by @boxmining. He suggested that you do post on things you really like and one of my passions is creative writing and I am working on a series of fantasy novels. So the characters in this excerpt (The last fight) are Antonio Reyes and Julio Delgado (also the main characters). These two grew up together and joined the Levitian (a major superpower) army at age 6(Antonio) and 9(Julio). These 2 went under many many missions together under the command of Captain Johnson (Important protagonist). This particular fight is my favorite because these two despite being brothers have always fought and this takes place when they have matured into very powerful states. I hope you enjoy reading this

The Last Fight

Julio (breathing heavily) stood 15 feet away from Antonio watching him closely. “You may hate me but I know you better than anyone Antonio, What do you plan to do next?” Julio asked knowing the answer. “If you know me so well then that was a stupid question” Antonio answered. Julio could see Antonio’s aura recovering at a drastic speed. “After all this you still insist on fighting me and for what?” Julio asked gritting his teeth. “NONE of this changes what you did back then!!” Antonio countered. Julio had lost a lot of energy from his last fight and he couldn’t recover as fast as Antonio, but he felt a strange connection to the dead gods aura like it was seeping into his body and it felt amazing. “I don’t know what that energy is but it won’t help you escape” Antonio warned Julio. Julio just chuckled while covering his left eye, “Prove it” Julio said grinning.
Antonio charged at light speed creating a sonic boom but Julio’s eyes were fast enough to teleport directly behind him and lunged his double bladed sword, but Antonio’s reflexes are extremely fast and he sidestepped, then kicked. Julio ducked and went for Antonio’s feet but Antonio jumped and sliced down. Julio managed to dodge the blade but lighting shot in all directions paralyzing Julio and Antonio charged while thrusting stabbing Julio in the chest. Antonio put his hand on Julio’s chest and exploded him “That was too easy Julio stop playing around” Antonio demanded. Julio’s real body was hiding in another dimension but Julio knew he couldn’t hide for too long. So Julio teleported 5 clones around Antonio they all charged but Antonio beat them one by one. Julio made the last one explode but Antonio saw it coming and dodged it. “This isn’t going to change what I did Antonio, nothing will” Julio said, “I know but my parents deserve justice” Antonio said while holding his right hand out. An amazing amount of electricity went into his hand Julio knew he couldn’t even get close to Antonio now. So he closed his eyes. Illusions won’t work well enough and he cannot keep up in close combat Julio would have to finish this with one decisive blow.
Antonio could feel Julio’s difference in power now because of that energy he had never felt anything like it. It was almost transparent the way it felt Antonio had to focus to feel it but when he did it felt powerful. Antonio charged at Julio but substituted a clone and Antonio sparred with the clone. This was strange Antonio thought, the clone was able to keep up with him meaning Julio must be concentrating somewhere smart. Julio knew he Antonio could find him faster with that aura so he focused on one clone and balancing his energy. Antonio had been trading throws with the clone for almost a minute. The clone must be gaining energy from Julio meaning Julio must be planning something big. Antonio clenched his abdomen and released 500,000 volts of electricity all around him and the clone melted. Antonio had to find Julio quick. “Too late” Julio said and split a couple atoms were Antonio was standing. Antonio ran into another dimension just in time to save his life but he was badly damaged. Antonio should have known that was coming, Julio’s favorite new move where he focuses his cursed metatron eye enough to split an atom.
Julio found Antonio’s speed to always be annoying but eventually Antonio came back to their dimension. “So... round 2?” Julio asked.
