Rebutting Washington Post Article "Twitter deletes claim minimizing coronavirus death toll, which Trump retweeted"
A family member sent me an article from the Washington Post in an email with the line:
Michael,
I think the attached addresses and refutes your relying on posts about how there aren’t that many deaths from COVID per the CDC.
Spoiler alert: The article doesn't.
I wrote the following back and thought I would share it with you, hoping you can use it when others who support slavery
After President Trump retweeted a claim that discounted the coronavirus death toll in the United States over the weekend, Twitter took down the post that spread false information.
Twitter is censoring its users for wrongthink, just like social media platforms do in Communist China and just like Soviet Russia and Nazi Satanic Germany would have done. Twitter is at their trash level.
The tweet was originally posted by “Mel Q,” a follower of the baseless conspiracy theory QAnon, which posits that the president is battling a cabal of Satan-worshiping child sex traffickers. It was copied from a Facebook post and claimed the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention had “quietly updated the Covid number to admit that only 6%” of reported deaths — or about 9,000 — “actually died from Covid.”
This video by Joycamp lays out nicely why people believe and trust in Q, supposedly a government worker with high-level security clearance.
To me, QAnon seems to be like a counterintelligence psyop for the purpose of getting people to stand down and take no action, telling people to "Enjoy the show," "Trust the plan," and DO NOTHING. Another promised savior who will never arrive.
There are many many Satanists, pedophiles, and child sex traffickers in governments. Satanism is the worship of One's own ego as God on Earth. It's spelled out quite clearly in The Satanic Bible, Book of Lucifer, "THE GOD YOU SAVE MAY BE YOURSELF." Using the true definition, many many people in the government (and the rest of society) are de facto Satanists.
Child sex traffickers: One quarter of the Pentagon employees (5,200 people) PURCHASED CHILD PORN ON THEIR WORK COMPUTERS in a 2010 sting. The Franklin Coverup by Jon DeCamp, Trance Formation of America by Cathy O'Brien, and Thanks for the Memories! by Brice Taylor are all great resources on how deep and prevalent this network is.
Survivors of this abuse, like Jay Parker, are also great resources.
The rest were people who “had 2-3 other serious illnesses,” said the tweet, which has since been replaced with a message saying it “is no longer available because it violated the Twitter Rules.” A Twitter spokesperson said the tweet violated the company’s coronavirus misinformation policy. The claim appears to be a reference to the CDC’s Wednesday update to its death data and resources page, which noted that in 6 percent of reported deaths, covid-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, “was the only cause mentioned.”However, that does not mean only 6 percent of reported deaths are attributed to the virus — it means 94 percent of people had at least one additional factor contributing to their deaths. In addition, the information is no secret addendum: It’s been on the CDC site since at least May.
Here's the chart they're referring to. Some of the comorbidities look like complications or acute events, such as "Respiratory failure/arrest" or "Heart failure."
Others, look like general underlying conditions due to chronic bad choices which put the person at a higher risk of death from any disease, such as "Diabetes" and "Obesity."
Again, Twitter is censoring its users like the good Communists and Nazis they are. People just act like that's "OK" these days.
The president also retweeted a link to an article by far-right Gateway Pundit — which remains on his page — containing the “Mel Q” tweet and using the 6 percent figure to attack members of Trump’s own coronavirus task force.
"Far-right" or "far left" has nothing to do with the accuracy of the source or the information. A source is either true or not. This is the same level of reporting as Fox News deriding a source as "far-left" and claiming everything they say ipso facto is false, as this article is doing.
In 2016, The Gateway Pundit accurately informed me that the polling between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton was erroneous. Their samples were usually biased 60-40 Democrat to Republican. I correctly predicted Trump would defeat Hillary in the election on Hong Kong TV and helped my hostess friend win a bet as to who the winner would be.
Washington Post right again!
“So let’s get this straight — based on the recommendation of doctors Fauci and Birx the US shut down the entire economy based on 9,000 American deaths due entirely to the China coronavirus?” said the article, referring to top U.S. infectious-disease expert Anthony S. Fauci and White House coronavirus task force coordinator Deborah Birx.
White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany justified Trump’s retweet as purely informative in her Monday press briefing.“ He was highlighting new CDC information that came out that was worth noting,” she said, without acknowledging a question about whether he was attempting to downplay the country’s death toll.
A representative for the agency did not immediately respond to questions about Trump’s retweet. “Comorbidities” reported by the CDC include heart disease, obesity, diabetes and hypertension — conditions that can make a person more vulnerable to the virus.
Each would be listed on a person’s death certificate, along with covid-19. Death certificates may also list sepsis, respiratory arrest, kidney failure or other conditions as the immediate cause of death, but those are caused by the infection. The virus remains the reason that they died, said Nasia Safdar, an infectious-disease professor at the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
I don't think obesity and diabetes are "caused by the infection." There were also over 77,990 "All other conditions and causes" which could be...anything.
“We know that most people with covid have some other underlying condition, which increases their risk of dying from covid and getting covid in the first place,” she said.
At least 180,000 people have died of the coronavirus in the United States, according to Washington Post tracking. Most experts, including Fauci, say deaths are being undercounted rather than overcounted.
A test does not need to be administered for a death to be counted as from Covid-19. It can be labeled as "presumed" or "probable" covid and included in the death count. Oh, the Washington Post is citing its own tracking. I guess Donald Trump can cite Donald Trump for his information now too.
Using experts is an appeal to authority and doesn't make the statement true, or false. It's irrelevant. By the way, of those possible 180,000 deaths, they reported that the median age of death was 78 years with the InterQuartile Range being 67-87 years old.
The CDC update provides a compilation of data on comorbidities, showing what other conditions are present in people who die of the coronavirus and helping reveal who might be most at risk. But it isn’t a departure from what the health agency or public health experts have said in the past. The CDC has said for months that people with underlying health issues are at greater risk of developing serious symptoms from the coronavirus.
“When you see that ‘only 6%’ of people had COVID-19 as the sole reason listed on their death forms, what it means is that there were only a small fraction of people who died of the disease who didn’t have any other underlying or immediate causes noted by the medical certifiers,” Australian epidemiologist Gideon Meyerowitz-Katz wrote in a post on Medium.
“This is completely unsurprising, as it’s pretty rare that someone wouldn’t have at least one issue caused by coronavirus prior to their death, and all it means is that in 94% of cases people who had COVID-19 also developed other issues, or had other problems at the same time.”
Conspiracy theories and misinformation have been a persistent problem amid the coronavirus pandemic, causing alarm among public health experts. Safdar noted that once a false claim “gets out there, it goes on like wildfire.”
Conspiracy theory was a term coined in the 1960s by the CIA after many people correctly distrusted the Warren Report's conclusion that there was a single shooter who for no real reason fired three perfect shots from hundreds of yards away and murdered John F. Kennedy. It is also a well-known fact that CIA agents are active in the media through Project Mockingbird.
“It seems like almost anything can be twisted to fit a particular message that one wants to deliver,” she said. “Even facts that, on the face of it, seem quite clear and incontrovertible.”
Yes, governments and media are very skilled in doing this. I remember when Iraq definitely 100% had weapons of mass destruction and how 19 Arab hijackers (many of whom were found alive afterwards) with boxcutters totally disintegrated and vaporized three steel and concrete buildings with two fast-flying soda cans.
This is the newest 9/11 which is being used to justify a descent into a global totalitarian slavery and hell on earth. Just wait until the economic devastation which governments caused as their response to this begins to really hit. I read 28 million Americans are at risk of losing their home or apartment. If you supported the government's actions, maybe you'll invite some of them to stay with you :-) .
Any way you look at it, government is a euphemism for slavery. If you support the government's actions, you support human slavery. That is the truth. I don't have the time or patience to put it more gently.
