RE: Should Officers Be Rewarded For Refusing Bribes?

And this is the root of the problem with public officials.

Getting special treatment from the govern-cement can garner you tons of advantages that those who know money can leverage into a whole lot of money.

Sinisters... i mean, Senators have a nice 6 figure income, and those who "play ball" tend to end up with 8 figure net worths while working on Capital Hill. What we should realize is those people who provided the extra figures, got many more figures added to their bottom line.

Now, there isn't enough money to give to a particular person that can ever match this. Those sinisters who get paid 6 figures, would need a bonus of 8 figures to just match what they would get. Further, if we paid them 8 figures, those who want govern-cement grease, would just pay 9 figures. It is merely that 8 is the current going rate.

So, no we shouldn't reward officers for refusing bribes.
It doesn't work.
