"It's not the end of the world"
When someone dies, it is the end of the world for them. If we have the choice to prevent millions of people from dying, we should not take it lightly merely because billions of others will not. The world will go on, but it will go on without millions of people who could have lived.
Do what you can - maintain social distance.
Death is inevitable, but we should stop what we can to ensure everyone has the chance of a good life. A few personal sacrifices for the greater good are no big deal. Selfishness could make things worse.
Stay well.
