He promised to make the issue more public in the face of global concern over the new disease. On the same day, Chinese authorities said they had identified 2,046 people in the country. By that time, more than 40,000 corona were identified in the world.
At that time, the number of people identified outside the mainland of China was less than 400. But now CNN has got the documents leaked internally. According to the document, the number of corona identification that China showed at that time was only a fragment.
Among what CNN learned from their investigation was that Chinese officials provided the world with more optimistic information than they had received internally. In the Chinese system, it takes an average of 23 days to diagnose certain patients. Internal audits have shown that inadequate funding, low manpower, weak morale and a bureaucratic model system have hampered China's early warning system. The internal document of the health authority of Hubei Province is marked as confidential. It said that till February 10, 5 thousand 917 people have been identified as corona. The number of people identified as corona in the leaked documents is almost double the number officially announced by the country. CNN says in the early days of the Corona epidemic, the country downplayed the horrors of the Corona.
Western nations, including the United States, have accused the Chinese government of withholding corona information. But China has been rejecting it.
As of Tuesday, a total of 92,902 people had been diagnosed with corona in China, according to Johns Hopkins University. 4,743 people died in Corona in the country.
