So fisherman soup is a common food that is eaten by majority in Nigeria therefore, anywhere you are in Nigeria you will definitely know how to cook or eat fisherman soup any tribe in Nigeria can eat it unless if you are not used to eating seafoods.
Fisherman soup is a combination of seafoods, different sea creatures like fish, shrimps, crabs, prawns, periwinkles and lots more depending on the particular ingredient that is available and the combination you want to use. Which means, you can always choose the ingredients that you want or feel like consuming.
So in this my preparation you will see the ingredients I choose from my fisherman soup and I'm going to show you the steps I took in cooking this meal.
To begin I arrange all my ingredients wash them thoroughly because any sea creature has a lot of sand so I use salt to wash it.

I added clams

Added crayfish, pepper and seasoning to taste then allow it to simmer
It simmer for 1 mins so the clams and periwinkle will be cooked well, see the okra is still fresh
Added snail and fish, (how I prepared the fish; I seasoned the fish and preheated in the oven so it won't scatter in the soup)
