Chicken thighs fried with barbecue flavor
If you are already fed up with fried chicken, then I highly recommend cooking it according to this recipe. The thighs are delicious and tender, and the pickled onions give them the taste of barbecue! New and interesting taste at a minimum cost !! Try it !!!
Ingredients:
6 small chicken thighs
1 large onion (or medium pair)
1-2 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp vinegar 9%
1 tsp Sahara
salt, pepper to taste
Preparation:
Cut the onion into half rings, add sugar, vinegar and mash with your hands.
Wash the thighs, dry with a paper towel, cut off excess skin and fat. Then rub with pepper, you can also use your favorite spices to taste, and garlic passed through a press. There is no need to salt yet.
Shallow cuts can be made on the thighs so that they are quickly marinated and fried.
Place the thighs in a bowl, skin side down, sprinkle each piece with pickled onions.
Put in the refrigerator to marinate for 5-6 hours (I left it overnight).
After that, shake off the onions from the thighs, salt and put the skin side down in a well-heated frying pan with vegetable oil. Cover and fry over fairly high heat until browned. If the skin burns a little, it's not scary, it will only enhance the taste of the kebab.
Then turn the thighs over, reduce heat and fry covered for 15-20 minutes.
Fry the onions separately, put on the chicken and simmer for another 5 minutes without a lid over low heat. Or you can simply sprinkle the fried onions on the chicken as you serve it. I did fried chicken and onions together)))
Everything, you can serve it with a side dish to taste))) But if you let the thighs with onions stand for an hour, the taste of the kebab will noticeably increase!
Good appetite!
