Meme Contest #3 Results
Hi Everyone,
It’s time to announce the results of Meme Contest #3.
The number of people that participated in this contest was amazing. The authors of the memes did a great job. The participation in voting was also outstanding.
Unfortunately, some of the authors and voters did not grasp my objectives for this contest. I was hoping that voting could be based on merit rather than friendship (high number of votes from followers) or reward (upvoting comments with votes). I did not name the author of each post so that people could focus on the meme rather than who created the meme. It is very unfortunate that some effort has been made to identify the authors and that voting appears, for many of the voters, to be based on following rather than merit.
I did not specify any rules regarding how people vote or if the participants can reveal which meme they authored. I will therefore not disqualify any participants. If manipulation of voting occurs in the next meme contest, I will be forced to disqualify participants.
Now, I would like to congratulate @pasaift for obtaining the most votes and winning the meme contest. I would also like to award @bignene and @cryptolucky 2 SBD each for the highest voted memes without the help of their followers.
I would also like to thank all of our participants regardless of the number of votes their memes received.

Congrats to the winners it will be interesting to see how vote weights get adjusted in future meme contests but seems like a fair additional input.
I have a few ideas. I will announce them in the next meme contest.
Thanks @spectrumecons for this opportunity. With respect to voting, how about no self voting ie participants are not allowed to participate in voting and also won't upvote comment of anyone
Self voting is not so bad. Upvoting your own votes is worse. Also, getting followers to vote is bad too. I just want a fair contest where people vote based on the best meme. Seems like it will be a challenge to achieve that.
