This is my photo of Pini. She is just a European shorthair
We found her on a parking lot along the highway in France. We fed the hungry little thing some cheese (that seemed to be her favourite food for that moment) and took her into our car, planning to keep her. She was about 4 or 5 months old.
The problem was that we were on our way back home to the Netherlands. That was a drive of 8 hours and it was evening already. So, we decided to stay at one of those large anonymous motels.
Animals were not allowed, but we sneaked her into the room, hidden in a box. In the room we let her out.
We didn't sleep very well that night, because we couldn't stop staring to our new friend. She was so well behaved: She did a pee in the washing basin!
I think we have given her a happy life of 15 years.

Favorite Food: Chicken or sardines with rice, carrots and celery. (We usually cook for him so he doesn't get all the nutrients from only dog food, which he actually dislikes.)
Is happiest: When we come back home from our walk and he gets to roll on the grass and rest before dinner.
Is saddest: When we don't get to walk for whatever reason. He knows exactly the time we go out and if it becomes late he starts crying.
Random facts: He loves bananas and pumkin. He doesn't know how to play fetch all that well, and he is so clumsy we've gone to the vet one too many times only because he's gotten too excited chasing lizards in our backyard and hurts himself. I guess you could say he's very passionate.
