The novel is about the life of Siddhartha a man who seeks the way to the truth and the understanding of the things of the world. It develops in the traditional environment of India. Excellent Novel and excellent author (Hermann Hesse), I highly recommend it.

      I could also recommend another volume by Hermann Hesse called El Lobo Estepario (Steppe wolf), it is a book loaded with great philosophy and many thoughtful images that are attractive to the reader.
