RE: Peoplephotography by worldcapture Week #14 - WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

in #contest6 years ago

Wow thank you! Think I can congratulate you too, with 28 participants! 🎉

I think I would have voted for @manoldonchev, loving the guy his face! How did you find this guy?

And @worldcapture, you really want to know how I made the picture? 😉

Well, check the story out it was... a very chancy and strange meeting, indeed.

Just did! There was no link here, sorry I didn't look further. For other people the story from @manoldonchev is here

Glad you found it, anyway. I am sorry for the awkward story within a story with an old link hidden as a bonus, etc.

And I have to admit I rarely have the time to check all that seems worth it. I rely on the phrase that the photo itself speaks a lot of words. And I am happy watching those selections always :)

Well deserved @guchtere! I agree with you , Manols entry was superb as always. It's really tough to fell a decision for 28 entries haha :D
And yes, I would like to know how you took it!

Hehe well there is this part in Iceland called Hverir where you can wander arround through an area where the air is smelling like sulpur combined with rotten eggs. There is steam coming from the ground (yes steam not steem), and it looks like this

Iceland

While here you only have to wait for the proper amount of steam and the wind blowing it to the side and your subject is only covered half.

You can also play a bit around and create superhero powers and stuff
Iceland

You see it doesn't have to be that difficult to create a mysterious picture while playing with your environment.😎

Man, that is so cool and so far away from what I thought It is :D

That's such a cool spot, I'm pretty sure I've heard about this place before, just can't remember when and where it was.

Anyway, Thanks a ton for the explanation and letting me know how your picture happened. Cheers!

Hah I didn't expect that either, I though it was a protest.
