What's in your library challenge ❓ by WizarDave: My answer
These are the books on my bedside table. I will read at least one or two of them almost every night The Schofield New American Standard Study Bible has been a favorite book of mine for over 20 years. This is the second one that I have owned having bought it used. I bought Lean Logic after seeing it on Chris Martenson's Book shelf while watching one of his videos and I have been slowly reading it for over half a year. I checked out Adam Smith's Economics Classic from the library before Christmas, but the number wasn't right for their records. I tried to recheck it out once, but the librarian told me to keep it until I was done with it. She probably thought that would be before now. This shelf has a few books of interest. The ones with ribbons were a classics series that I bought at the local library for 5 dollars each, they are for later reading. The Strong's Concordance hasn't been used recently, but has proven to be useful over the years. My father gave me the Tanach which I have read and gave me a view of the first part of the Bible from the Jewish perspective. Atlas Shrugged took me over a year to read and has impacted my thinking deeply. Ayn Rand's Anthem is a quick read. The Crisis of Freedom was written by one of my father's best friends, Jack Feder, and Mike Maloney's book on Gold and Silver is also a tremendous book. Silent Spring by Rachel Carson was also a very important book to read. As well one of my favorite classes in undergrad is represented here by my Italian Textbook.
I have two books by Jonathan Cahn here one of which the contest sponsor has The Shemitah and The Harbinger. I have a Hebrew Old Testament that was used in Seminary. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy has impacted me over my frequent readings. I read John Courson's Commentary on the Bible and greatly enjoyed it. Some of the others, I just picked up for free and haven't read them yet, while others I have read.
Great idea for a contest and I hope you enjoyed my library.
I've always wanted to read Atlas Shrugged. Must do. What a good collection. Some big books there to feed you mind and soul!
If you read Atlas Shrugged, don't give up as Ayn Rand took a long time to develop the characters and to create the setting for what she was getting across.
Thanks for that advice!!! It's definitely on my must read list, but I have heard it's hard going to start with.
Yes, I stopped at one point and then picked it up later.

Wow, judging by our books, we have a LOT in common.
Reading pundits like Glenn Beck helps point out some problems and solutions.
TLDR Socialism doesn't work. Capitalism with "small l" libertarianism does work.
Good luck in the contest
Thanks Dave! Yeah, I thought that our libraries had similarities.
I have been watching a lot of Ron Paul's videos. I didn't know much about him when he ran for president, but I was pulling for his son Rand Paul in the previous election, before he pulled out.
