Hi, my fellow steemians. Hope you are doing great. So excited its another friday! I welcome you to this great contest initiated by me. Its a mind teaser. But hey, you guys are really smart people and i know this wont be so much of a challenge. We just want to enjoy pulling the leg of our smart minds .

This contest will be running for at least a month, 1 different question for each week. We want to make it memorable and see how far we can go with this. I want to make it simple and easy so all of us can enjoy it. This is the first contest i arranged here. I have waited for days to do this. I hope you will like it. Lets go straight into business.

The image below is a triangle containing many smaller triangles. The question is simple:

How many triangles are there in all?

Hint: A triangle is a plane figure with three straight sides and three angles.

The prize

The first person to get the correct answer wins 2 SBD.
The second person to get the correct answer answer wins 1SBD.
For now we have 2 winners guaranteed. Depending on the participation, i may raise the prize and include 3rd place winners.

3. Only one entry per participant. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
4. Drop your answer to the contest as a comment on this post in the following way: "My name is ............ There are 2 triangles in total". Or I am ............. the answer is 2.
   For example if the answer is 2 and you are john, your comment should be: My name is John. There are 2 triangles in total. OR. I am John. The answer is 2.
5. You may follow me to know when the result of this contest is out. But it is optional.
6. This contest starts today Friday 02/03/2018 and ends on Wednesday 07/03/2018. The winners will be published on Friday 09/03/2018. I will take thursday next week to go through your entries and arrange the winners.
