I'm an active participant of our wonderful Steemit community for more than a year now & I want to contribute to its further development & growth! I believe that with organizing this photo contest I would make a small contribution...

I am very familiar with the thing that photographers, as being one myself for more than 15 years, are not really happy with being on the other side of the camera - playing the role of a model! It's not a general thing, but many of us do have a problem with being a model & confronting with the camera...

Sadly, there were no entries in the 1st week.

But I'm not an easy quitter so I decided to DOUBLE THE PRIZES in the second week!

INSTRUCTIONS:

Be creative & make self-portraits not in that common way as the trendy "selfies" but in a high quality way partly describing yourself & your way of life. Every each of us has many different roles to play in life: worker, sportsman, soldier, writer, driver, lover, husband, father, wife, mother, artist, model, waitress, lawyer, dancer, actress, scientist, doctor, singer, musician, politician, manager, nurse, porn star, prostitute, gigolo, pimp... or some kind of an imaginary character - somebody who you would like to be... There is plenty of inspiration for the theme!

Nudes are also very appreciated & welcomed as well as the conceptual & art photography.

Photo can be full color, b&w & monochrome tones.

How to apply for the contest:

1. Create a high quality shot of yourself - a self-portrait which presents you & your way of life or what you would like to be.

2. Ad a short story / explanation / description to the photo.

3. Photos must be your original work as well as the text following!

4. Use a #self-portrait tag as one of your tags in the post.

5. Post a link to your entry in the comment below this post.

6. Upvote & resteem this post & follow me.

7. Write in English.
