Stillness at the Dock / The World of XPILAR - B&W PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #233

Tucked quietly between wild leaves and gentle water, this old canoe felt like a memory left behind.
Shot in the summer at Saint Colomban in Quebec, Canada, this was a place where time seemed to pause. It was outside where I was living at the time and i could spend hours sitting there just feeling at peace.

The water stood still. The silence was deep.
I let the moment hold me, just long enough to feel part of the scene.

Photographed with my Nikon D40 and 50mm lens, this black and white capture is all about slowing down, finding peace in overlooked corners, and remembering that nature never rushes.

I Spend a few years there and all this time no one has ever moved the Kanoo, odd and magical if you asked me.
