Still can get it in some place but kids nowadays don't fancy this.
Back then, it was like a treat especially these with the icing which we ripped of and sometimes finished just the biscuit part leaving the best (icing sugar) till last.
There's also the less interesting version (without the icing sugar)

Wow it also remind me of my memories eating this one.
Thanks @happydolphin

you're welcome. so, I'm not alone :-)

That biscuit is also called Iced Gem here in the Philippines, because that is the name of its packaging.

Haha. nice. I don't even know what's it called but the website I found this said "Fancy Gems". quite similar

@happydolphin
oh first time I saw this kind of cake. I also like to eat biscuits with ice cream, but I love chocolate

Really? I though quite available in South East Asia. I know Thailand has it and recently found Philippines too. However the icing part is not so much of cream. More of sugar.
They same company also have something called lemon puff biscuit and with that it's the lemon cream I like :-)

@sadkitten is countering 50% of @moyse self-votes for 1 week starting Friday, September 7th 2018 because it is part of last weeks top self-voters. For more details see this post.

My childhood food habhit always started with sweet had taken all kind of food vagitable, rice , milk, chocolate all mixed with sweet dices ... But now I don't like sweet...Even i will not touch any sweet dices.

@a-alice thanks for making funy contest

Ohhh! Not exactly remember about my childhood food..
May be milk and rice.

My favorite childhood memory of food is EVERYTHING my grandmother made me. Every time I'd walk into her house, she'd have something already prepared. There was never a time I remember walking in hungry and her not already having something. I miss her so much.

Well I am over your 55 range, but still would like to share. My best memory of my first taste of Durian, the king of fruits is a great experience not many know. My parents and grandma love durian and I can remember clearly how it tasted like when I first ate it. A weird kind of strong taste different from anything I have eaten. differently not a fruit. The one I ate was bitter sweet. At that time I did not like it, now I love it. Our taste buds changes as we grow and what we might not like before might not last. Same with bitter gourd and century eggs.
That's my unforgetable experience with food. Maybe some of you have tasted Durian and love it like I do now.

The competition is for those who have a good reputation from 25 to 60. edited :D
thanks for your comment

My favorite childhood food is no other than "PRINGLES" which is famous for their motto "Once You Pop You Can't Stop" i still remember when my mom went to Hongkong and work their as a domestic helper, when i was around at the age of 5yrs. Old, my mom often sent to me 6pcs. Of pringles in her package every month, because everytime she wrote or calls she often asked what i want to eat so she could send it to me, and everytime she asked i always answer her pringles, even though my mom is far away i know she loves me because she knows that when i ate pringles it really makes me happy, and what makes me happy is also her happiness, even now that i have my own family, i and my wife together with our son, we often buy and eat pringles, it's feels like eating pringles is also a family bonding moments to us,
