He had the shorter joists for over the kitchen so he put what he had of those up on Monday. The rest of the order is due early Tuesday morning.

Every edge of the box emphasizes just how not-big each room really is.

Then he decided to do rafters over the living room. He got 4 pieces of plywood on the joists, 2 nailed down and 2 moveable.

He got a few pairs up by himself.

The addition on Monday

I collect peoples’ bags of very fry leaves in autumn and store them for putting down in the layer pen. We have been given our first load and he will pick them up early Tuesday morning while waiting for his order to arrive.

Once that’s done he’ll resume setting joists.
