I can remember the day of September 11th, 2001 in great detail, as I've heard my mother's reminiscence of the John F. Kennedy assassination, and the entire class room being escorted out of the 2nd grade class room back in 1963.

There she was... this fragile little girl, daughter of a World War II veteran.. heavily spiritually beaten down by Roman Catholicism..

..the Empire strikes again..

I was 14 years old, mid way through keyboard class when the news came to our class room. Mr. Bain, a 400lb twinkie loving geek tech teacher turned on the over head box of a TV, dangling from what seemed to be a new aged fancy wall mount... They were rolling TV's into class on squeaky wheeled carts just years before...

One of the towers was burning, and we students began to speculate what object might have hit it.. was this an accident? . ..but a devastating terrorist attack never crossed our minds.. until the second plane hit.

The entire school was quickly ushered off ground, the flag was met at half staff and the event made its mark..

We saw the "War on Terror" quickly rise from this... a war that can never be won...
