WHAT IS A SEALED TRANSMISSION? WHY ARE MANUFACTURES USING THEM? (no dipstick)

in #conspiracy7 years ago

Are you driving a car that has no dipstick?

I'm referring to the automatic transmission of you're vehicle.

Why are more and more manufactures using what they call a "sealed unit" There is no way to check the level of transmission in your car unless you open up the transmission itself or make your own "dipstick"

More cars on our roads today have the sealed transmission units and owners are not even aware.

It becomes a problem when all of a sudden you're car starts behaving abnormal. Like : A delay in shifting gears when accelerating . The sound of gears grinding when driving or switching gears. Delay of the engagement of the gears, like when putting the gear in Park or Reverse.

WHERE IS THE DIPSTICK?

WHAT CAN YOU DO IF YOU HAVE A SEALED TRANSMISSION IN YOU'RE CAR ?

If you are not familiar with automatic transmissions I would not recommend you tackle this job yourself.
If you drive to you're dealer most of them will tell you that there is no need to do anything as its a sealed unit and requires no attention. This is simply NOT TRUE. NO automatic sealed unit transmission will last forever.
If your car has travelled more than 60000 miles then I would demand for the unit to be completely flushed with a top up of fresh transmission fluid and all filters.

As miles are put on your car, metal shavings from the gears in the transmission will become prominent in the transmission fluid clogging up filters and reducing the amount of available fluid. This is the reasons why no sealed unit will last forever in a car no matter what the car manufactures say.

Hello DIPSTCK

Help stop the greedy car manufactures by simply charging you for a complete replacement part, and demand you're transmission get serviced regularly.

I hope this helps many people out there who are unaware and if you liked this post then help resteem, , share with friends and family.
