Biggest Conspiracies that cloud the world around us
Conspiracy theories always fascinate everyone. Whether the person be a kid who is comic geek or an old bloke swinging on his armchair with a cigar in mouth. We love talking about stuff that we feel is a part of a grandiose scheme!
And often to pleasure our curious senses, we sniff out scents too faint and then sneeze them out to infect others! This is how conspiracies spread. Some sneezes are fast and short, and some bombard so loud that they are forever stamped into our memories.
So let us get right into some of the conspiracies that blasted so loud that they will probably always be there!
● The Moon Landing Conspiracy
The moon landing was probably the most historic moment in the history of mankind. Never before man had left the confines of the atmosphere we live in and traveled to another astronomical body. It was a bizarre spectacle to imagine we had developed the capacity to travel so far!
It all started with President John F. Kennedy’s announcement on May 25, 1961. In front of a special joint session of Congress the dramatic and ambitious goal of sending an American safely to the Moon before the end of the decade was announced.
It was that time in the cold war era when the ‘space war’ was at its peak. Soviet Union was already ahead of US with its launch of Sputnik, the first artificial satellite in 1957 and the legend of Yuri Gagarin who became the first man to reach space on April 12, 1961 beating Alan Shepard who did it on May 5.
So later on July 20th,1969, when Neil Armstrong is said to have landed on the moon, conspiracy theories started emerging that it was just a move to upset the Russians and show American superiority.
Many interesting proofs have also started to emerge including-
● How the flag was waving when there is no atmosphere?
● How multiple shadows were formed when there is just one light source?
● Why there weren't any stars in the photographs?
● Why wasn't there an impact crater on the landing? Etc
● Area 51 and Aliens Conspiracy
Area 51 has long been in public speculation since the unexplained aircraft sightings in the 1950s. It wasn't until 2013 that the US government finally acknowledged the existence of Area 51 with the release of declassified CIA reports
Other than the numerous UFO sightings (which were mostly U-2 aircraft sightings-for whose testing the site was created), people also believe that it was here that the moon landings were faked. Various space equipment – including land rovers and life support systems – were tested by the astronauts at the adjoining nuclear testing grounds.
There have also been many outlandish claims made including one by retired Army colonel who said he was given access to extraterrestrial materials gathered from an alien spacecraft that crashed in Roswell, N.M.
● AIDS was created in a Laboratory
Another conspiracy theory that created quite an uproar stands on the perceived evils of human nature. It says that AIDS virus was not a natural mistake but a man made epidemic.
Ever since the 1980’s when the disease first hit Africa, claims have been made that AIDS was created by American Scientists in a laboratory as a weapon to be used on enemies of the United States. It was when they began testing it on unsuspecting populations in Africa and Haiti that they lost control of the experiment.
The claims have had many prominent supporters including South African President Thabo Mbeki and Nobel Peace Prize winner Kenyan ecologist Wangari Maathai. Mbeki once endorsed the theory, claiming that the virus originated in Africa and accusing the U.S. government of manufacturing the disease in military labs. On the other hand, Maathai used the international spotlight she gained after the Nobel Prize to support the theory as well.
● The New World Order Conspiracy
The New World Order Conspiracy posits a new period of history where the major problems of the world like wars, political strife, disease, hunger etc will be handled by a secretive power elite organization.
The theorists believe that the world is functioning on a globalist agenda perpetuated by a group or groups of elitist people bent on ruling the world through a single worldwide system of government.
One prominent such organization is the Illuminati, a clandestine organization claimed to have originated in 18th century Germany and which is allegedly responsible for the pyramid-and-eye symbol adorning the $1 bill.
Another prominent group is the Freemasonry which boasts of George Washington as its alumni. The all-male group has six million members across the world which are all powerful members of society.
Where there is love there is life.
