The internet has shown that traditional schools are becoming obsolete. With how rapidly technology changes each day, it makes more sense to base a curriculum that has the ability to change. A lot of information that is taught in college is already outdated before it even reaches the student. Making it where some degrees are practically useless by the time you graduate.

More businesses are finding this out and looking now for a portfolio of work to show any accomplishment or skill you may have. Seeing that degrees are no longer a reliable way of showing this. Unfouturnatly, it is still taking some time for the majority to catch on.
