One imagines actually being shot at would make anyone concerned about assassination. I think that's just an excuse though, they are just too cowardly to be republicans in the Trump era. It sucks though, all these guys jumping ship is just handing things to the Democrats and if they get a majority Trump will be hamstrung and probably have to spend the next 6 years dealing with stupid impeachment attempts.

I read this last night. I think hyping this one opinion is just more media BS. Most of them carry weapons now anyway. Earlier this week I bumped into my congressman at a local restaurant and thanked him for supporting the president. I'm sure that if I'd gotten mouthy he might well have shot me.
