Seafood is a source of potassium, vitamin A, E, C and D, calcium and iron. Vitamins really necessary for the growth and strengthening of bones. Vitamin E has a strong antioxidant action, while the B vitamins that are also found in seafood provide folic acid. Vitamin A is perfect for skin care and vision. Then there is the Omea 3, essential for our body because it helps to lower cholesterol and, therefore, the chances of suffering a heart attack, as well as cardiovascular diseases in the medium and long term.
Because it is an ingredient of animal origin, seafood offer high quality proteins, because they contain all the essential amino acids. They are low in carbohydrate and most of them have a low fat content, not reaching 2% of its composition.

However, many of them have a high proportion of cholesterol, such as squid, mussels or prawns.

All have a high nutrient density, that is, they concentrate many healthy nutrients in their composition and although they are low in fat ingredients, they contain valuable minerals and vitamins.. imageeece9fd4-8e61-4be9-b157-702878a49892.JPG
