Chaplin spent much of his childhood through extreme poverty and hardship in London. For the absence of his father and his mother, he was sent to work on a workshop twice before his nine years of age.Chaplin started his career as a child artist from England, and later started acting as a stage-comer and comedian. At the age of 19, he signed with renowned Fred Recompense, who took him to the United States tour. Chaplin was involved in the Hollywood film industry, and in 1914 he started acting on a big screen with Keystone Studios. Soon, he got acquainted with the trump character of his own creation, and many of his devotees grew up.
