Travel Diary: Dubai Tour (2# Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo)

One of the largest suspended aquariums in the world. The 10-million litre Dubai Aquarium tank, located on the Ground Level of The Dubai Mall, showcases hundreds of sharks and rays, including the largest collection of Sand Tiger sharks in the world.

Spectacular aquarium with a wide range of well-laid out displays but you can see most of the aquarium from outside in the mall without paying for the tickets.

The tunnel is nice and the view from walking under it was amazing as you get an even closer view of the fishes and other species but it literally only takes 5 minutes to complete.

The Underwater Zoo is much better and has a wide variety of fish and animals including clown fish, Jellyfish, turtles, crabs, penguins, otters, and crocodiles. You can spend quite some time at the zoo and it is lovely and cool.

There are a couple of spots where you can stand on a glass plate over the water and see the fish swimming underneath you. I would recommend the zoo for families and anyone who likes animals.
