Sleepy Time!

He's resting now, waiting for the eprfect time to jump in and join the fun! Some times, he sits forever with his eyes open, and sometimes closed. Either way, this Northern Fur Seal is beautiful! Soft, silky smooth fur, water resistant and provides awesome insulation for him, in the cold northern seas.

Enjoy some alone time, swimming without all your friends and brothers playing too!

Ever wonder how much fish and food a typical Aquarium goes through in a day? Here, at New England Aquarium, it is between 35 and 100 pounds per day, including the transient guests at the Marine Life rehab centers nearby.

Excellent photos, as yours always are! They are adorable creatures, and I am amazed at the amount of fish is consumed in a day!
