ColorChallenge Saturday Indigo - Architectural Details
Hi again,
I have a photo for today's challenge that can be used for just about any colorchallenge day. It is another combination photo that is using 2 different takes of two interior architectural details. For fun you may want to notice the two photos in the merged composition before scrolling below where the two are displayed individually. As usual I will appreciate all comments, positive or otherwise, everything is helpful. After all we are here to learn and communication is an important part of that!
I had enjoyed taking a series of light spectra while visiting my brother in his home in Connecticut and was staying in a room that had a lot of sun entering through the widow. The sun felt pretty good since it was during the winter Christmas and New Year holidays and was cold outside. The one that follows is a detail of a window frame.
This next one displays part of the window sill and window frame. I wasn't using a regular prism but was playing with how different shaped glass objects formed different shaped spectra. My interest was more in the colors and light and shadow in an abstract sense of composition and the sense of a particular identifiable object being secondary. And rainbows are always beautiful.
This post is part of the weekly challenge put on by @kalemandra with special thanks to her for the fun opportunity. This finishes a week and am looking forward to doing some more!
Everyone is invited to particpate, ColorChallenge rules here.
As usual will be fun to see all the entries.
I'm a new "plankton" and not yet a "minnow" or maybe the next category is krill. Little did I know about all the categories and how low on the food chain I am. Well, to look at the bright side at least plankton get to sunbath for their chlorophyll. I’ll just drift along until I can get eaten by a minnow! I invite everyone to take a look at my photo blog here.
