Color Challenge Monday Red: @melodyrussell's Gretsch
I took this back in 2008 a few days after @melodyrussell got this guitar for her birthday. ALLLLL our friends chipped in to get her this awesome guitar! I only had about 200 dollars at the time to buy her something but our generous group raised another 300 to get this; now priceless guitar. Two months after she received it two of our friends passed away 2 days apart; both of whom had helped purchase this guitar. I'll let her tell you more about 'Gunner' when she can.

Uplifting and sad story at the same time. it is so often for some reason that good people tend to go first. This makes this instrument very special i believe, and the way light is falls on it it makes it look surrealistic. Touching story, nice and meaningful shot.
It was definitely a rough time in life.... but it has made us a stronger group i think....
